Pastor
Reverend Robert Brown
Pastor Robert Brown comes to Bethel United Methodist Church following his service as pastor of Sanford Chapel United Methodist Church. He is honored to join the Bethel congregation and looks forward to partnering in ministry—grounded in faith, hope, and love—to serve the church and surrounding community.
Pastor Brown brings a diverse background in ministry, leadership, business, and service, reflecting a deep commitment to caring for people and strengthening communities. He holds a Master of Divinity from Austin Presbyterian Theological Seminary, a Master of Business Administration from Texas A&M University–Commerce, and a Bachelor of Science from the United States Military Academy at West Point.
He served sixteen years in the United States Army, including two deployments to Iraq. Following his military service, he continued developing teams and leaders in roles with major retail organizations, including Home Depot and Sam’s Club. In addition, Pastor Brown owns and operates a family-owned insurance agency, where he enjoys helping individuals, families, and small businesses protect what matters most.
Prior to serving as lead pastor at Sanford Chapel, Pastor Brown ministered as a youth pastor, where he developed a lasting passion for mentoring young people and supporting families in their faith journeys. He is currently on the ordination track as an elder in The United Methodist Church and is committed to preaching, teaching, and servant leadership that helps others grow in their relationship with Christ.
Pastor Brown is married to his wife, Gabriela, and together they are blessed with six children. In his free time, he enjoys coaching youth sports, dancing, and staying active
at the gym.
Office Administrator & Assistant to the Pastor
Liliana Granados
As the Office Administrator at Bethel United Methodist Church, Liliana Granados provides essential support to the pastor, leadership board, and ministry leaders. With a professional background assisting executives and directors, she brings strong
organizational skills and a genuine passion for serving others.
Liliana’s greatest strength lies in her ability to connect with people while fostering a welcoming and efficient environment. She is grateful to be part of the Bethel team and is committed to making daily operations smoother and more effective for everyone she serves.
Outside of the office, Liliana enjoys activities that bring clarity and balance, such as running and walking outdoors. She also treasures time with her family and relaxes with
a good book or a favorite movie.
